Cleaning services and terms
Cleaning services:
We offer a variety of cleaning services that are carried out according to the standards of maintenance cleaning. Maintenance cleaning refers to regular, systematic, and preventative cleaning aimed at maintaining cleanliness and hygiene. This service ensures that spaces stay clean and their lifespan is extended. Our company provides cleaning services with a comprehensive liability insurance coverage in place.
Different cleaning services:
- Maintenance cleaning: Regular cleaning that maintains cleanliness and prevents dirt accumulation.
- Move-out cleaning: A more exceptional and thorough cleaning focusing on deep cleaning of spaces.
- Deep cleaning: We can offer deeper cleaning based on the customer's preferences, if possible.
Our guarantee:
Beatus Abstersus Oy is committed to customer satisfaction. If you are dissatisfied with our service, please notify your Beatus Abstersus Oy representative in writing within one (1) day of the service completion, which is defined as when our cleaning team departs. A representative from Beatus Abstersus Oy has the right to inspect any issues on-site, and we aim to correct any deficiencies quickly. If the service is found to be entirely inadequate, we will offer a replacement service of the same kind. If the customer or another person has made corrections to the cleaning or if Beatus Abstersus Oy was not given the opportunity to assess the issues, Beatus Abstersus Oy is not liable for compensation. If the customer does not notify us within the specified time, the service will be considered accepted. All complaints will be handled in accordance with Beatus Abstersus Oy customer service guidelines, and we encourage our customers to provide clear, detailed feedback for the best possible resolution.
Important notes:
- Minimum charge: The minimum billing time for cleaning is two (2) hours.
- Tax deduction: Services are eligible for a household tax deduction. (Learn more: Tax Administration)
- Additional time: If the cleaning exceeds the agreed time, we will charge for the additional time in 15-minute increments according to the hourly rate specified in the agreement.
- Travel expenses: Travel costs are included within our service area (approximately 10 km radius from our premises). If the distance exceeds 10 km, we charge for the extra kilometers according to the pricing list (1.20 €/km). The customer will be informed of any additional travel expenses before the service is performed.
Cleaning schedule and additional charges:
- Standard cleaning hours: Monday–Friday from 08:30 to 17:00.
- Weekend cleanings: Arranged separately, with an additional 25% charge on Saturdays. Sundays and public holidays incur a +100% charge. Cleaning hours are from 09:00 to 17:00.
- Waiting time: If the service is delayed due to the customer’s fault, Beatus Abstersus Oy will charge for the waiting time according to the hourly rate (the cleaner will wait up to 15 minutes at the location).
- Cancellation policy: One-time cleanings must be canceled at least 48 hours before the service, and the cancellation must be communicated in writing to the contact person. For continuous cleaning agreements, the cancellation period is 1 month for home cleaning contracts and 2 months for other regular cleaning contracts unless otherwise agreed.
- Rescheduling and cancellations: If the service is prevented due to the customer's fault, the cleaning can be rescheduled without charge if the cancellation is communicated at least 48 hours in advance. The rescheduled cleaning must be performed within two months. If the cancellation is not communicated, the agreed service price will be charged, and the price for monthly services remains unchanged.
- Paper billing: A 5.00 € fee will be charged for sending paper invoices.
- Reminder fee: A reminder fee of 5.00 € will be charged for any overdue invoices requiring a reminder notice.
- Parking costs: The customer is responsible for providing parking during the cleaning. If free parking is not available nearby, we will charge the customer for the parking costs incurred during the service based on the actual expenses.
- Special cleaning agents or supplies: We charge separately for special cleaning agents and supplies, such as paper towels.
- Bodily waste additional charge: 15/35€ (for small or large cleanings).
Billing and payment terms:
- One-time cleaning agreement: The invoice for the cleaning will be sent upon completion, and the payment term is 7 days.
- Ongoing cleaning agreement: Billing takes place monthly or bi-monthly. Payments are due within 14 days.
Requirements for cleaning execution:
- Access to premises and equipment: We kindly ask the customer to ensure access to water, electricity, and the premises. If there is a lock on the bin enclosure, please ensure that access is possible.
- Pets: If there are pets on the premises, we kindly ask the customer to ensure that they are secured or kept separate during the cleaning, so the cleaner can work safely and without interruptions.
- Window cleaning: Window cleaning is possible, including for higher windows using a telescopic pole or windows that open inward.
Dishwasher use and water devices:
- Dishwasher use: The customer is responsible for ensuring that the dishwasher is in working condition and does not leak during use. The cleaner will follow the customer’s provided instructions and ensure the proper use of the dishwasher.
- Water devices: Cleaning services do not cover leaking faucets or other water devices. Therefore, the customer is responsible for ensuring that the devices and faucets are in good condition and do not leak during the cleaning. If leaking faucets or other water devices are found during the cleaning, the customer will be informed of the issue immediately.
